  1. Madam Pompre

So I bought this luggage because I liked the design and the color and was looking for a new fashionable suitcase. The delivery was fast. It is very light. However, it felt very cheap, smelled odd and was scratched when it arrived. Also, one of the zipper pulls inside was already missing. I mean my sons toys are higher quality plastic than this suitcase. I felt like one bump and it would shatter. It is way over priced. Not worth it. May look fashionable but DO NOT BUY!!! Get Tumi, American Tourister or Samsonite instead.

Not only is this very handsome looking luggage, but traveled extremely well on our trip to China, Korea and Japan. Being able to pack on both sides was such a positive and convenient thing. We must have gone to 30 or more customs so the divided sections were extra helpful. This is the luggage of the future. The wheels rolled smoothly, and through it all, we arrived home with nary a scratch. High recommend.

  3. Button Gwinnett

I bought two of these and I should have bought zero. One of them arrived soiled, for which Amazon gave me a discount which was generous and very considerate of them. However, the first of the suitcases broke at the bottom corner, where the wheels are, after a single trip with one layover. Two flights. The second suitcase broke in exactly the same way after two trips. Four flights. In none of these trips did I load the baggage with more than fifty pounds of contents per bag.

The problem is that the suitcase is built in a monocoque fashion, ie the plastic exterior holds the wheels together. There is no frame at the bottom, not even a plastic one, to connect and reinforce the four caster wheels. And since the plastic exterior is shaped with the plaid design, there are lots of stress concentrations where the material can, and does, crack. Nothing has fallen out of the bag yet, because there is an interior liner and very very light padding between the exterior and the contents of the suitcase.

If I were designing this product, I would get rid of the plastic plaid lines, use thicker sheet plastic for the shell, and reinforce the wheels with a plastic or aluminum frame.

I used to use a pair of similarly sized Samsonite ultralight luggage that I bought for $99 each, which I took everywhere from Europe to Uruguay over the course of seven years. I still have those suitcases. They have a frame between the wheels.

In retrospect, I should have spent a little more to get a durable product instead of buying this product which has fallen apart after one or two uses. Total garbage and a waste of money.

Bought two of these based upon the reviews and thankfully, they lasted through one two-week trip before the handle at the top of the suitcase tore clear out of the luggage and cannot be reattached. Thankfully this didn’t occur during the trip but happened as we were carrying them up our front steps after arriving home. The suitcase is ruined – useless and worthless. I feel as though I should be refunded. How do I go about getting a refund. A suitcase should last longer than 2 weeks.

I really like the color of this luggage! I wanted something that would stick out on the conveyor belt at baggage claim but still was subtle. There is a lot of room inside; I was able to easily pack a week’s worth of clothes, a couple pairs of shoes, toiletries, etc for Disney, with room to spare for souvenirs. I took away 2 stars though because it did not glide well across the airport carpet. It reminded me of the skidding and resistance you feel when the wheels don’t spin on a shipping cart, but I don’t think the wheels are defective since I had no issues at all once off the carpet. Also, when rolling on the sidewalk, the tires repeatedly got caught in the thicker cracks. It was enough to make me jerk to a stop a few times and then have to forcefully pull the suitcase out of the cracks. My husband was in front of me with his suitcase (another brand) and had no problems whatsoever of maneuvering across the sidewalk. I’ve never noticed either of these issues with previous suitcases and if I wasn’t outside of my return period, I would definitely consider returning it. I want ease over aesthetics!
