Nepal is open to tourism with mandatory quarantine and 2 tests

Nepal is open to visitors from all countries but all arrivals must bring a negative COVID-19 test result and agree to quarantine the hotel for 7 to 10 days.

On day 5, visitors will be tested again. If the result is positive, travelers must stay at the hotel until the result is negative.

Nepal decided to allow trekkers and climbers to enter in October last year. Two months later, the benefit was extended to all types of travelers. In addition, the government has restored all visa programs.

Travelers who have a vaccination certificate will soon be able to bypass the quarantine requirements and enter Nepal for any purpose (however, they will still need an appropriate visa).
