Holland America Line Announces Its 2023 Alaska Cruise Itinerary Starting at $684 Per Person

Holland America Cruise Line will celebrate its 75th year of cruising to Alaska by deploying six cruise ships in 2023 with packages starting at $684 per person.

Each cruise will feature a stop at one or more of Alaska’s most famous glacier destinations, such as Glacier Bay National Park, College Fjord, Hubbard Glacier and Twin Sawyer Glaciers of Tracy Arm.

Guests will be able to sail to Alaska aboard Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Volendam and Westerdam from April to September 2023.

Those looking for a deeper exploration of the Great Land can choose from 16 different Cruisetours that combine a three-, four- or seven-day Alaskan cruise with a tour of the interior of Denali National Park.

In addition to the seven-day itineraries, Holland America will also offer a 14-day “Great Alaska Explorer” cruise on two different dates.

“Alaska remains one of our most popular destinations and we are excited to have six ships in Alaska in 2023, along with the return of the 14-day cruise,” said Gus Antorcha, president of Holland America Line.

As of today, this is the only cruise operator offering land tours to the uncharted lands of the Canadian Yukon Territory.

The seven-day Alaska cruise starts at $999 per person at double occupancy for a premium “Have it All” package that includes a Shore Excursion, Exclusive Beverage Package, One Night Gourmet Dinner, and Wi-Fi Surf Package .

Cruise-only prices start at $684 per person, double occupancy. Taxes, fees and port fees are not included in the price.

While the line has not revealed the specifics of each cruise, here is some information on what these voyages will offer.

Alaska’s Inland Passage is a round-trip tour of two of Alaska’s most impressive natural wonders, Tracy Arm and Glacier Bay.

Discovery of the “Northbound” and “Southbound” glaciers cruises allow passengers to explore the spectacular Inner Passage as well as Glacier Bay National Park.

The Great Alaskan Explorer is a 14-day round trip cruise that allows travelers to experience the natural splendor of the Inside Passage as well as the breathtaking views of Glacier Bay.

Taking this cruise gives passengers the chance to spot Alaskan bears, as well as tour the Alaskan towns of Skagway, Sitka, and Ketchikan.
