Georgia is open for tourists from selected countries and returning nationals. All visitors must send a negative PCR test done 72 hours before departure and isolate themselves for 8 days.
Vaccinated travelers from all countries can enter Georgia without any restrictions. To obtain entry, they need to present a document confirming the full course (two doses) of any vaccination COVID-19.
In addition, the country is implementing the new “Georgian work”Program that allows remote workers from 95 countries to live and remain in the territory.

March 20 – Georgia eases blocking restrictions
A few weeks ago, the country decided to allow entry of all types of travelers with proof of vaccination against COVID-19 issued two weeks before arrival in Georgia. This benefit applies only to travelers arriving by plane.
As of March 8, the new Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili allowed the reopening of hotels in ski resorts. Meals in restaurants, museums and libraries were also able to reopen.
Public participation in the events is scheduled to resume on April 1st.
February 15 – Launch of Vaccination
Georgia is expected to receive 29,250 doses of the Pfizer vaccine between mid and late February. These vaccines will be administered to healthcare professionals at an early stage in the implementation of the vaccination.
The country plans to vaccinate 700,000 Georgians by September.
December 9 – Georgia reopens for remote workers from 95 countries
Georgia is now allowing visitors and new residents in some special type of visas. Business travelers, residents of EU countries and foreign students can apply for these.
Remote workers from 95 countries can also apply for work visas on public holidays. To do this, applicants must earn at least $ 2,000 a month and be willing to pay Georgia taxes.

Which countries are allowed to enter Georgia?
Citizens and holders of residence permits from the following countries and territories can enter georgia through the air. They must present proof of negative results of the PCR COVID-19 test, observe a 14-day quarantine and, on the 3rd day of hospitalization, perform the additional PCR test on their own.

How is the situation with COVID-19 in Georgia?
Georgia is close to overcoming the second wave of Covid-19. As of March 20, the country confirmed 276,796 positive cases and 3,683 total deaths.
Diagnostic tests are being carried out as soon as doctors suspect a case of coronavirus. Both the diagnosis and the test for residents and residents are entirely funded by the government.
What places are open for tourism in Georgia?
Not as many as we would like to tell you, but you can go to places that have been allowed to reopen if they implement measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These places are,
